Description

Raceper is indicated to relieve chronic heartburn, treat GERD symptoms, aid in healing erosive esophagitis, eradicate Helicobacter pylori infection, address Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome, manage acid-related Dyspepsia, and heal Duodenal & Gastric ulcers.

  • Dosage Instructions:
    • 20 mg or 40 mg Once Daily for Erosive Esophagitis
    • 20 mg Once Daily for Maintenance of Healing of Erosive Esophagitis
    • 20 mg Once Daily for Symptomatic GERD
    • 40 mg Once Daily for Helicobacter Pylori eradication
    • 20-80 mg Once Daily for Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome
    • 20-40 mg Once Daily for Acid-related Dyspepsia
    • 20 mg Once Daily for Duodenal Ulcer
    • 20-40 mg Once Daily for Gastric Ulcer
    • IV Injection: 20 mg or 40 mg Once Daily for GERD with Erosive Esophagitis in Adults
    • IV Injection: 10 mg-20 mg Once Daily for GERD with Erosive Esophagitis in Pediatric Patients
    • IV Infusion: 80 mg followed by a continuous infusion for rebleeding of Gastric or Duodenal Ulcers
  • Administration: Swallow whole at least one hour before a meal for tablets/capsules, Reconstitute oral suspension with water, Administer IV injection or infusion with 0.9% Sodium Chloride
  • Interaction:
    • Metabolized by CYP2C19 and CYP3A4
    • No clinically significant interactions with certain drugs
    • May interfere with drugs where gastric pH affects bioavailability
  • Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any of the formulation
  • Side Effects: Headache, Diarrhea, Nausea, Flatulence, Abdominal Pain, Constipation, Dry Mouth
  • Pregnancy & Lactation: No adequate studies in pregnant women, Discontinue breastfeeding if essential
  • Precautions & Warnings:
    • Symptomatic response does not preclude gastric malignancy
    • Take at least one hour before meals
