Treatment Indications
- Hypertension

Pharmacological Action
- Block the vasoconstrictor and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II
- Thiazide diuretic effect on renal tubular mechanisms of electrolyte reabsorption
Mode of Action
- Inhibition of ACE
- Affecting renal tubular mechanisms of electrolyte reabsorption
Administration
- Can be administered with or without food
- May be administered with other antihypertensive agents
Interaction
- Angiotensin II receptor antagonist interactions
- Thiazide diuretics interaction with other drugs
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any component of the product
- Anuria
- Hypersensitivity to sulfonamide-derived drugs
