Pharmacology

Inhibits gastric acid by blocking the hydrogen-potassium adenosine triphosphatase enzyme system

Dosage

Administration

Tablets should be swallowed whole with liquid. Can be dispersed in non-carbonated water if necessary.

Interaction

Metabolized in the liver. Potential interactions with CYP2C19 and CYP3A4. No significant interactions with several drugs observed.

Contraindications

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the formulation.
