Pharmacology

Dosage & Administration
- Adult dosage for acute migraine attacks: 200 mg when symptoms appear, may be repeated once after 1-2 hours
- Adult dosage for mild to moderate pain: 100-200 mg tid
- Dosage adjustments may be necessary for renal impairment
- Avoid in case of severe renal impairment

Interaction
- Increased absorption with Metoclopramide and Magnesium hydroxide
- Decreased absorption with Aluminium hydroxide

Contraindications
- Active gastro-intestinal bleeding
- Active gastro-intestinal ulceration
- History of gastro-intestinal bleeding related to previous NSAID therapy
- Severe heart failure
