Indications

Relieves dryness of the eye
Relieves discomfort due to dryness
Relieves irritation from exposure to wind or sun

Composition

Active Substance: Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium USP 10 mg
Preservative: Purite 0.0075%

Pharmacology

Alleviates symptoms of moderate to severe dry eye syndromes
Provides long lasting protection against dryness and irritation
Acts as a lubricating formulation similar to normal tears
Contains mild & non-sensitizing preservative
Increases the retention time of the eye drop due to viscosity enhancement

Dosage & Administration

Instill 1 drop in the affected eye(s) 4 times a day or as needed

Interaction

Interval of at least 5 minutes required between each application if several medicines are to be administered to the eye

Contraindications

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the product

Pregnancy & Lactation

Safe use during pregnancy and lactation has not been established
Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breast-feeding

Precautions & Warnings

Concomitant ocular medication should be administered 15 minutes prior to instillation
Remove contact lenses before use
Do not use if solution changes color or becomes cloudy
Avoid touching the container tip to any surface to prevent contamination
Replace cap after each use

Use in Special Populations

Pediatric use: Not recommended for infants and small children under 3 years
No overall differences in safety or effectiveness observed between elderly and other adult patients

Storage Conditions

Use within 30 days after first opening
Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C in a dry place
Protect from light
Close the bottle tightly after use
Keep away from the reach of children
