Indications

Treatment of hypertension

Pharmacology

Blocks vasoconstrictor and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin-II
Thiazide diuretic affecting renal tubular mechanisms of electrolyte reabsorption

Dosage & Administration

Usual starting dose of 20/12.5 mg
Titration at intervals of 2-4 weeks

Potential interactions with Thiazide diuretics and various drugs

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any component of the product
Anuria or hypersensitivity to sulfonamide-derived drugs
