Dosage & Administration
- Diclofenac FC Tablet for adults: 75-150 mg daily in 2 to 3 divided doses
- Diclofenac SR Tablet for adults: 1 tablet daily
- Diclofenac Dispersible Tablet for adults: 2-3 tablets daily
- Diclofenac TR Capsule: One capsule daily
- Diclofenac Suppository for adults: 50 mg 2-3 times daily
- Diclofenac injection for adults: 1 ampoule daily
- Diclofenac Gel for external use: 2-4 g applied 3-4 times daily
Interaction
- Increased plasma concentrations of lithium and digoxin
- Increased risk of hemorrhage with anticoagulant therapy
- No influence on antidiabetic agents' clinical effect
- Nephrotoxicity with cyclosporin concomitant use
- Serious toxicity with concomitant use of methotrexate and NSAIDs
- Convulsions with quinolones and NSAIDs concomitant therapy
- Increased frequency of unwanted effects with other NSAIDs and steroids
- Lowered plasma levels when co-administered with aspirin
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any ingredient
- Peptic ulcer
- Hypersensitivity to Diclofenac
- Contra-indicated in asthmatic patients affected by certain drugs
- Not to be used under occlusive airtight dressings

Pregnancy & Lactation

- Very insignificant quantity detected in breast milk
Precautions & Warnings
- Close observation in patients with peptic ulceration or gastrointestinal bleeding
- Not to come in contact with eyes or mucus membranes
- Proper hand washing after application
- Not to be taken by mouth
