Indications

Side Effects

- Occurrence of fever, abdominal pain, superinfection, renal dysfunction, toxic nephropathy, hemorrhage, and pancytopenia
Pregnancy & Lactation
- No adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women
- Caution advised during pregnancy and lactation due to detection in mother's milk and unknown effect on nursing infants
Precautions & Warnings
- Avoid use in absence of proven bacterial infection
- Potential for overgrowth of nonsusceptible organisms with prolonged use
