Description

Dosage and Administration

Indications

Mode of Action

  • Ramipril: angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor
  • Ramipril reduces plasma angiotensin II and decreases vasopressor activity
  • Hydrochlorothiazide: thiazide diuretic that increases excretion of sodium and chloride

Interaction

  • Potentiates antihypertensive response to diuretics or other antihypertensive agents
