Description

Gerdnil is a Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI) indicated for the healing of erosive esophagitis, maintenance of healed erosive esophagitis, relief of heartburn, and treatment of symptomatic non-erosive Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). It suppresses gastric acid secretion by specific inhibition of the (H+/K+)-ATPase in the gastric parietal cell, and is available as a dual delayed-release formulation in a capsule for oral administration.
