Description
- Relieves cramps or spasms of the stomach and intestine

Indications
- Symptomatic treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
- Chronic irritable colon
- Spastic constipation
- Mucous colitis
- Colicky abdominal pain
- Persistent non-specific diarrhoea
Dosage & Administration
- Mebeverine Hydrochloride 135 mg tablet: 1 tablet 3 times daily
- Mebeverine Hydrochloride 200 mg capsule: 1 capsule 2 times daily
- Most effective when taken 20 minutes before meals
- Dose reduction after desired effect
- Missed dose instructions
- Not recommended for children under 10 years
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the drug or any other ingredients
Side Effects
- Well tolerated, but may cause skin rash, urticaria and angioedema
Pregnancy & Lactation
- No teratogenicity shown in animal experiments
- Usual precautions during pregnancy
- Does not excrete in breast milk

Overdose Effects
- CNS excitability in case of overdosage
