Indications

• Relief of pain and itching from insect bites
• Relief of pain and itching from minor burns
• Relief of pain and itching from sunburn
• Relief of pain and itching from minor skin irritations
• Relief of pain and itching from minor cuts
• Relief of pain and itching from scrapes
• Relief of pain and itching from rashes due to poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac

Pharmacology

• Antihistamine action of diphenhydramine
• Topical anti-allergic action of diphenhydramine
• Analgesic action of diphenhydramine by blocking histamine release
• Skin protectant action of zinc

Dosage & Administration

• Recommended application frequency: 3 to 4 times daily
• Application instructions for adults and children above 2 years
• Application instructions for babies under 2 years with physician consultation
• Pre-application skin preparation guidelines
• Special application guidelines for babies under 2 years

Contraindications

• Contraindicated in individuals with known allergy to components
• Contraindicated in individuals allergic to pyrethroids or pyrethrins

Side Effects

• Occasional reports of contact dermatitis with mild erythematous vesicular lesions and papules

Pregnancy & Lactation

• Caution advised for pregnant women with use under medical advice
• Likelihood of low levels in breast milk following topical application
