Indications

Pharmacology

- Inhibits transmembrane influx of calcium ions

- Absorption unaffected by food
- Metabolized by CYP3A4

Dosage & Administration
- Oral route of administration
- Initial dose of 2.5 mg once daily
- Maximum dose of 5 mg once daily
- Dosage adjustment for elderly and hepatic insufficiency patients
- Effective dose for pediatric patients 6-17 years

Contraindications
