Dosage & Administration
- Usual adult dose: 1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet at night

- Reduces absorption of bisphosphonates
- Reduces absorption of ciprofloxacin
- Reduces absorption of fluorides
- Reduces absorption of iron
- Reduces absorption of levothyroxine
- Reduces absorption of tetracycline
- Reduces absorption of zinc
- Reduction of calcium salts absorption by corticosteroids
- Increased risk of hypercalcemia with thiazides and related diuretics
