Composition

100 mg Guaifenesin
1.1 mg Levomenthol
14 mg Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride

Pharmacology

Guaifenesin as expectorant
Levomenthol as local anesthetic and decongestant
Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride as antitussive, antihistaminic, and anticholinergic

Dosage & Administration

2 teaspoonfuls syrup 4 times a day for adults and children over 12 years
No more than 8 teaspoonful syrup in 24 hours for adults and children over 12 years
Efficacy and safety not established in pediatric patients and adolescents

Interaction

Potentiation of effects of alcohol and other CNS depressants
Potentiation of effects of anticholinergics (e.g. some psychotropic drugs and atropine)
Possible tachycardia, dry mouth, gastrointestinal disturbances, urinary retention, and headache

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the product or any of its components
Treatment with MAOIs within last two weeks
