Indications

Interaction
- Catecholamine-depleting drugs may have an additive effect when given with beta-blocking agents
- Calcium channel blockers may also have an additive effect when given with Anolol
- Contraindicated with disopyramide due to potent negative inotropic and chronotropic effects
Contraindications
- Sinus bradycardia
- Cardiogenic shock
- Overt cardiac failure
- Hypersensitivity to atenolol or any component of the product

- Central nervous system effects like mental depression and memory loss

Warnings
- Evaluate patients already on beta blockers before starting Anolol
