Description
Clozyl is indicated in the treatment of various diseases including the prevention of post-operative infections, septicaemia, bacteraemia, peritonitis, brain abscess, pelvic abscess, amoebiasis, giardiasis, and dental infections. It is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Metronidazole or other Nitroimidazole derivatives. The US FDA Pregnancy Category of Metronidazole is B. It may cause metallic taste, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, drowsiness, and rashes. Storage conditions include storing below 30°C and protecting from light.
