Description
Live microorganisms, Lactobacillus species, Bifidobacterium species and yeasts, beneficially affect the host upon ingestion. Lactobacillus acidophilus occurs naturally in a variety of foods. Lactobacillus bulgaricus produces lactic acid, helps lactose intolerance. Bifidobacteria are normal inhabitants of the human and animal colon, colonize infants quickly.
