Pharmacology

Dosage & Administration
Orally 1-2 capsules daily or as advised by the physician
Interaction
- Menaquin may alter the effect of warfarin
- Concomitant use with orlistat may decrease the absorption of Menaquin
Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Menaquinone-7. Contraindicated with warfarin
Side Effects
Generally well tolerated in recommended dose. No reports of side effects associated with any type of hypercoagulable state
Pregnancy & Lactation
Menaquinone-7 can be used during pregnancy. May help both mother and child in formation and maintaining proper bone health
