Indications
- Gastric ulcer

Pharmacology
- Histamine H2-receptor antagonist
- Inhibition of gastric acid secretion
Dosage & Administration
- Usual dose for adults: Famotidine 20mg twice daily
- Orally administered once daily at bed time
- Dosage should be adjusted according to age and symptoms
- Recommended oral dose for maintenance therapy is 20mg once daily
Powder for Suspension
- Dosage varies by age for Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease(GERD)
Interaction
- No clinically important drug interactions identified
- Does not interact with the cytochrome P450-linked drug-metabolizing enzyme system

- Known hypersensitivity to any component of the drug
