Indications

Pharmacology
- Imidazoline derivative sympathomimetic amine
- Direct agonist at alpha-adrenoceptors

- Improves airway potency
- Facilitates nasal sinus drainage
Dosage
- Adult dosage: 2-3 sprays in each nostril twice daily for 3-5 days
- Elderly dosage: No need for dosage reduction
- Children below 6 years: Not suitable for use
- Nasal drop dosage for adults and children: 2-3 drops in each nostril twice daily
- Nasal drop dosage for children 2-5 years: 2-3 drops in each nostril twice daily

Interaction
- Contraindicated with MAO inhibitors
- Avoid use within 14 days of ceasing MAO inhibitor treatment
Contraindications
- Patients with cardiovascular disease

- Patients with angle closure glaucoma
- Hypersensitivity to any ingredients
