Indications
- First-line treatment for metastatic NSCLC with specific EGFR mutations
Pharmacology
- Reversibly inhibits EGFR kinase activity
- Prevents autophosphorylation of tyrosine residues
- Inhibits downstream signaling
- Higher binding affinity for certain EGFR mutations
Dosage & Administration
- Recommended dose: 250mg orally once daily
- Can be taken with or without food
- Administration for patients with difficulty swallowing solids

Contraindications
- Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Gefitinib
