Indications
- Topical treatment of impetigo
- Treatment of folliculitis
- Treatment of furunculosis
Pharmacology
- Active against Staphylococcus aureus
- Active against Streptococcus pyogenes
- Inhibits bacterial protein synthesis
- Bactericidal at concentrations achieved by topical administration
Dosage & Administration
- Applied 3 times daily for up to 10 days
- Established safety and effectiveness in age range of 2 months to 16 years

Contraindications
- Contraindicated in individuals with history of hypersensitivity reactions to Mupirocin or any of the components

Precautions & Warnings
- Not for ophthalmic or intra-nasal use
- Prolonged use may result in overgrowth of non-susceptible organisms
- Care should be taken to avoid the eyes when used on the face
- Not suitable in conjunction with cannulae or at central venous cannulation site
- Discontinue usage in case of sensitization or severe local irritation
