Indications
- Allergic rhino conjunctivitis (seasonal and perennial)
- Urticaria
- Hay fever
Mode of Action
- Potent and effective non-sedating histamine antagonist
- High affinity to H1 receptor
- Selectivity to H1 receptor
Dosage and Administration
- 20 mg tablet for adults and adolescents
- 10 mg mouth dissolving tablet for children 6 to 11 years
- 4 ml once daily for children 2 to 11 years
Interaction
- Concomitant use with ketoconazole, erythromycin, cyclosporine, or diltiazem
- Effect on psychomotor performance with alcohol and lorazepam
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the active substance or excipients
