Description

Indications
- Adjunctive therapy in patients aged 2 years and older

- For bipolar disorder in patients aged 18 years and older
Pharmacology
- Inhibition of sodium channels
- Modulates release of presynaptic excitatory neurotransmitters

- Inhibits Cav2.3 (R-type) calcium currents
- Demonstrated clinical benefit in some neuropathic pain states
