Indications
- Prophylactic treatment of bronchial asthma
- Symptomatic treatment of allergic conditions including rhinitis and conjunctivitis

Dosage & Administration
- Adults: 1 mg twice daily with food
- Children above 3 years: 1 mg twice daily with food
- Use in elderly: Same as adult dose or as advised by the physician
Interaction
- Potentiate the effects of sedatives, hypnotics, antihistamines and alcohols
Contraindications
- Avoid concomitant use with oral antidiabetic agents
- No evidence of teratogenic effect
- Not recommended in pregnancy or when breastfeeding

Precautions & Warnings
- Continue previous treatment for at least two weeks after starting Tifsi
- Special caution with systemic corticosteroids and ACTH
- Advised to avoid alcoholic drinks
- May potentiate the effects of sedatives, hypnotics, antihistamines and alcohol
Overdose Effects
- Confusion

- Bradycardia
- Respiratory depression
- Elimination of the drug with gastric lavage or emesis is recommended
