Indications
- Treatment of eczema in children and adults
- Infantile and descoid eczema
- Prurigo nodularis
- Psoriasis
- Neurodermatoses including lichen simplex and lichen planus
- Seborrhoic dermatitis
- Contact sensitivity reaction
- Discoid lupus erythematoses
Pharmacology
- Synthetic adrenocorticosteroid
- Glucocorticoid nature
- Anti-inflammatory
- Antipruritic
- Vasoconstrictive activity
- Percutaneous absorption from the skin
- Increased absorption with occlusive dressings
Dosage & Administration
- Apply sparingly to affected area
- Two or three times daily initially
- Twice daily or less after improvement
- Maximum duration of therapy is three weeks

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any ingredients
- Rosaceae & acne vulgaris
- Perioral dermatitis, perianal & genital pruritis
- Viral infections of the skin
- Primary infected skin lesions by fungi or bacteria
- Dermatoses in children under one year of age

Pregnancy & Lactation
- Avoid extensive use during pregnancy
Precautions & Warnings
- Stop application if signs of hypersensitivity appear
- Avoid long term continuous topical therapy particularly in children
- Adrenal suppression may occur without occlusion
- Systemic absorption may lead to hypercortisolism
- Risk of atrophic changes after prolonged treatment
- Avoid entry into the eye
- Withdrawal if spread of the infection occurs
