Indications
- Eczema treatment for children and adults

Dosage & Administration
- Sparingly apply to affected area
- Two or three times daily initially, then reduce frequency
- Maximum therapy duration of three weeks

- No significant drug interactions reported
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients
- Contraindicated in rosaceae & acne vulgaris
- Contraindicated in perioral dermatitis, perianal & genital pruritus
- Contraindicated in viral skin infections (e.g. herpes simplex & chicken pox)
- Contraindicated in primary infected skin lesions caused by fungi or bacteria
- Not for use in children under one year of age
Side Effects
- More common with high doses
- More common with long-term use
- More common with occlusive dressings
- Local adverse reactions: dryness, itching, burning, skin thinning, local irritation, hypercortisolism features, telangiectasia, striae, skin atrophy, hypertrichosis, change in pigmentation, secondary infection, perioral dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, maceration of the skin, acneform eruption, exacerbation of symptoms
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Avoid extensive use during pregnancy
Precautions & Warnings
- If signs of hypersensitivity appear, stop application
- Avoid long-term continuous topical therapy, especially in children
- Avoid occlusive dressings for prolonged treatment
- Atrophic changes may occur after prolonged treatment
- Careful application to avoid eye contact
- Withdrawal of topical corticosteroid therapy if infection spreads
