Pharmacology
- Active against Gram-positive organisms
- Inhibition of cell wall formation
- Resistance to penicillinase
- Bactericidal antibiotic

Dosage
- Oral administration
- Adult dosage: 250 mg four times daily
- Children's dosage: 1/2 or 1/4 of adult dose
- Parenteral administration
- Intramuscular and intravenous injection doses
- Administration for severe infections

- Oral administration 1 hour before meal

- Potential interaction leading to increased blood levels

- Contraindicated in penicillin hypersensitive patients
