Indications
- Treatment of major depressive episodes

Pharmacology
- SSRI

Dosage
- Single daily dose
- Administered with or without food
- Usual dosage of 10 mg once daily for major depressive episodes
- Initial dose of 5 mg for panic disorder
- Usual dose of 10 mg for social anxiety disorder
- Initial dosage of 10 mg once daily for generalised anxiety disorder
- Initial dosage of 10 mg once daily for obsessive-compulsive disorder
Administration
- Administered once daily

Interaction
- Should not be started until 2 weeks after stopping an MAOI
- MAOI should not be started until at least a week after stopping an SSRI or related antidepressant
