Indications
- Allergic rhino conjunctivitis
- Urticaria
- Hay fever
Mode of Action
- Histamine antagonist
- High affinity to H1 receptor
- Non-sedating
- Long-acting
Dosage and Administration
- Adult dosage: 20mg tablet once daily
- Children dosage: 10mg mouth dissolving tablet (6-11 years), 4ml (2-5 years)
- Optimal exposure with water on an empty stomach
Interaction
- Concomitant use with ketoconazole, erythromycin, cyclosporine or diltiazem increases concentration
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to active substance or excipients
