Dosage Recommendations
- Tablet dosage: 10 mg every 4-6 hours for short-term use (up to 7 days), not for chronic use
- IV and IM injection dosage based on age, weight, and condition
- Eye drops dosage: 1 drop in each eye 4 times daily
Interaction
- Interacts with other NSAIDs or aspirin, anti-coagulants, beta blockers, ACE inhibitors, and methotrexate
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to the drug or other NSAIDs
- Not for use in children under 16 years of age
- Contraindicated as a prophylactic analgesic before surgery
