Indications
- Topical treatment of impetigo
- Treatment of folliculitis
- Treatment of furunculosis
Pharmacology
- Produced by fermentation using Pseudomonas fluorescens
- Active against Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes
- Inhibits bacterial protein synthesis
- Bactericidal at topical administration concentrations
Dosage & Administration
- Apply to affected area 3 times daily
- Treatment duration up to 10 days
- Safe and effective for age range of 2 months to 16 years

- Avoid use near the eyes
- Not suitable in conjunction with cannulae or at the site of central venous cannulation
- Discontinue usage in case of severe local irritation
- Risk of dilution when mixed with other preparations
