Description

• Coavlon is indicated for the treatment and stand by emergency treatment of adults, children, and infants with acute, uncomplicated infection due to Plasmodium falciparum or mixed infections including P. falciparum. It is effective against both drug-sensitive and drug-resistant P. falciparum. The tablet contains a fixed ratio of 1:6 parts of Artemether and Lumefantrine respectively, and is active against blood stages of Plasmodium vivax, but not active against hypnozoites.
