Indications
- Gradual bleaching of hyperpigmented skin conditions
- Reduction of hyperpigmentation caused by photosensitization
- Treatment of chloasma, melasma, freckles, and senile lentigines
Pharmacology
Hydroquinone inhibits enzymatic oxidation of tyrosine to 3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine and suppresses melanocyte metabolic processes
Dosage & Administration
Apply a thin film of Hydroquinone Cream once daily to the affected area
Contraindications
Prior history of hypersensitivity or allergic reaction to hydroquinone or other ingredients
Side Effects
Occasional hypersensitivity or localized contact dermatitis
Pregnancy & Lactation
Pregnancy Category C, caution advised during lactation
