Mode of action
Vermicidal, ovicidal, and larvicidal activity
Pharmacology
Albendazole exhibits vermicidal, ovicidal and larvicidal activities
Dosage Administration
- 400 mg dose for single and mixed infestations
- 200 mg dose for children of 1-2 years
- Adult dosage for hydatid disease
- Dosage for cystic echinococcosis
- Dosage for alveolar echinococcosis
- Dosage for giardiasis

Contraindications
- Neonates
- Reduced dose for children weighing less than 10 kg
