Composition
- Calcium Lactate Gluconate 1000 mg
- Calcium Carbonate (from Coral source) USP 327 mg
- Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) BP 500 mg
- Vitamin D3 400 IU as Colecalciferol BP
Pharmacology
- Calcium Gluconate for normal nerve, muscle, and cardiac function
- Coral Calcium for better absorption
- Vitamin D3 aids in Calcium absorption
- Vitamin C as a powerful reducing agent
- Vitamin D for bone formation and fracture prevention
Dosage & Administration
1 effervescent tablet per day for adults, ½ tablet for children, as prescribed for infants. Dissolve in water.
Interaction
Consider hypercalcemia risk with thiazide diuretics. Certain foods may reduce calcium absorption. Concomitant therapy with phenytoin or barbiturates may decrease Vitamin-D effect. Calcium salts may reduce absorption of certain drugs.
Contraindications
Hypercalcaemia, primary hyperparathyroidism, Vitamin-D overdosage, severe renal failure, hypersensitivity

Pregnancy & Lactation
Supervision by a physician. Consider increased requirements for calcium and vitamin-D. Overdoses of Vitamin-D have shown teratogenic effects in animals. Passes into breast milk.
Precautions & Warnings
- Supervision for mild to moderate renal failure
- Periodic checks of plasma and urinary Calcium levels
- Urinary Calcium excretion measurement for renal stones
- Monitor serum and urinary Calcium levels in long-term treatment
Overdose Effects
Hypercalcaemia due to Vitamin-D toxicity. Stop intake and rehydration.
