Indications

Pharmacology

Dosage & Administration

  • Telmisartan monotherapy 80 mg
  • Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide 80 mg/12.5 mg once daily
  • Dose titration up to 160 mg/25 mg
  • May be administered with other antihypertensive drugs

Interaction

  • Caution with aliskiren, digoxin, lithium
  • Interference with certain laboratory tests
  • Potential interaction with NSAIDs, corticosteroids, ACE blockers, and angiotensin II receptor blockers

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to Telmisartan or Hydrochlorothiazide
