Description

Indications
- Management of moderate to moderately severe pain in adults
- Short-term management of acute pain (five days or less)
Pharmacology
- Paracetamol has analgesic and antipyretic properties with weak anti-inflammatory activity
- Tramadol is a centrally acting synthetic opioid analgesic
Dosage & Administration
- Recommended dose: 1 or 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours for moderate to moderately severe pain
- Recommended dose: 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours for short-term acute pain (five days or less)
- Maximum of 8 tablets per day
- Can be administered without regard to food
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to tramadol, paracetamol, or opioids
- Contraindicated in situations where opioids are contraindicated
