Indications
- Gastric reflux
- Heartburn
- Indigestion
- Flatulence associated with gastric reflux
- Heartburn of pregnancy
- Epigastric and retrosternal distress
Pharmacology
- Combination of two antacids and an alginate
- Neutralizes excess stomach acid
- Forms a protective barrier over the stomach contents
- Does not depend on absorption into the systemic circulation
Dosage & Administration
- Adult dosage: 10-20 mL after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day
- Children over 6 years dosage: 5-10 mL after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day
- Chewable Tablet: Thoroughly chewed and taken after meals and at bedtime
Interaction
- Consider 2-hour time interval between Gavinor intake and other medicinal products
Contraindications
- Known or suspected hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or excipients
