Indications
- Rapid acting wide spectrum microbicidal preparation

Composition
- 0.5% w/v Chlorhexidine Gluconate
- 70% v/v Isopropyl Alcohol BP
Pharmacology
Bactericidal effect due to positively charged chlorhexidine cation binding to negatively charged bacterial cell walls
Dosage & Administration
- Disinfects clean hands and contaminated materials with essential amount (almost 3 ml)
- Disinfects surgical instruments by immersing in a clean pot with essential amount (almost 5 ml) for 2 minutes
- Disinfects skin prior to surgery or other invasive procedures by scrubbing with essential amount (almost 3 ml) until dried
- Disinfects wound/wound dressing by scrubbing with essential amount (almost 3 ml) until dried
Interaction
Incompatible with soaps and other anionic agents, may cause brown stains with hypochlorite bleaches
Contraindications
Not to be used in patients hypersensitive to Chlorhexidine Gluconate or any composition
