Indications

Contraindications

- Not to be given to patients with asthma, urticaria, or allergic-type reactions to aspirin or other NSAIDs
- Contraindicated for peri-operative pain in the setting of coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery

Pregnancy & Lactation

- Avoid use during the third trimester of pregnancy
- Not recommended for use in nursing mothers
Precautions & Warnings
- Association with renal papillary necrosis and abnormal renal pathology in animals
- Renal toxicity in patients with conditions leading to reduced renal blood flow or volume
- Discontinuation may lead to recovery to pretreatment state

- Symptoms following acute overdose
- Limited symptoms following acute NSAID overdoses
- Possible gastrointestinal bleeding
- Rare occurrences of hypertension, acute renal failure, respiratory depression, and coma
