Description
Amber 5 mg Tablet is a medication used to treat conditions such as hyperlipidemia, hypertriglyceridemia, and type 3 hyperlipoproteinemia. It is a selective and competitive inhibitor of HMG-CoA reductase, and it helps in lowering cholesterol levels in the body.

5-20 mg/day maximum recommended is 20 mg/day

Acts by increasing the number of hepatic LDL receptors and inhibiting hepatic synthesis of VLDL
