Indications
- Treatment of mild to moderate Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) in adults

Dosage & Administration
- Route of administration: Oral with food
- Recommended daily dose for IPF patients: 2403 mg/day
- Titration regimen for initiating treatment

- Dose adjustments for photosensitivity reaction or rash
- Dose adjustments for significant elevation of liver enzymes
Interaction
- Interaction with moderate and strong CYP1A2 inhibitors
- Reduced incidence of adverse reactions when taken with food
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the active substance or excipients
- Concomitant use of fluvoxamine
- Severe hepatic impairment or end stage liver disease
- Severe renal impairment or end stage renal disease requiring dialysis

- Common side effects: Nausea, rash, abdominal pain, upper respiratory tract infection, diarrhea, fatigue, headache, dyspepsia, dizziness, vomiting, weight decrease, arthralgia
- Rare side effects: Photosensitivity reaction, decreased appetite, pruritus, asthenia, dysgeusia, non-cardiac chest pain
