Description
- An antitussive syrup for the relief of persistent, dry, irritating cough and aids restful sleep
Composition
- Contains Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride, Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, Levomenthol
Dosage and administration
- Adult dosage: 2 teaspoonfuls 4 times a day
- Children over 12 years: 2 teaspoonfuls 4 times a day
Interaction
- May potentiate the effects of alcohol and other CNS depressants
- May potentiate the effects of anticholinergics
- Concomitant use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors can result in adverse symptoms
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the product or any of its components
- Contraindicated in individuals taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors
- Should not be given to subjects at risk of developing respiratory failure
