Composition

Gualfenesin BP 100 mg
Levomenthol BP 1.1 mg
Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride BP 14 mg

Pharmacology

Guaifenesin reduces viscosity of sputum
Levomenthol has local anesthetic properties
Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride has antitussive, antihistaminic, and anticholinergic properties

Dosage & Administration

For adults and children over 12 years: 2 teaspoonfuls syrup 4 times a day
Maximum 8 teaspoonfuls in 24 hours

Interaction

May potentiate effects of alcohol and CNS depressants
Potentiate effects of anticholinergics
May result in tachycardia, dry mouth, gastrointestinal disturbances, urinary retention, headache

Contraindications

Known hypersensitivity to the product or any of its components
MAOI treatment within last two weeks
