Pharmacology

  • Combination of two antacids (Calcium carbonate and Sodium bicarbonate) and an alginate (Sodium alginate)
  • Neutralizes excess stomach acid
  • Forms protective barrier over stomach contents

Dosage & Administration

  • Adult and children over 12 years: 10-20 mL after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day
  • Children 6 to 12 years: 5-10 mL after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day
  • Chewable Tablet for Adults and children 12 years and over: 2-4 tablets after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day

Interaction

  • Administration time-interval of 2 hours with other medicinal products like Tetracyclines, Digoxine, Fluoroquinolone, Iron salt, Ketoconazole, Neuroleptics, Thyroid Hormones, Penicillamine, beta-blockers, Glucocorticoid, Chloroquine, Biphosphonates, Estramustine
