Indications
- Neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN)
- Postherpetic neuralgia (PHN)
- Adjunctive therapy for the treatment of partial-onset seizures

Pharmacology
- Structural derivative of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA)
- Binds with high affinity to alpha2-delta site

Dosage
- Maximum recommended dose of 100 mg three times a day for DPN
- Starting dose of 50 mg three times a day for DPN
- Recommended dose of 75 to 150 mg two times a day for PHN
- Starting dose of 75 mg two times a day for PHN
- Recommended dose of 300 to 450 mg/day for fibromyalgia
- Recommended dose range of 150 to 600 mg/day for spinal cord injury
Administration
- Oral route of administration
- Should be taken with or without food
- Pregabalin CR tablet should be swallowed whole
- Gradual tapering when discontinuing
Interaction
- Unlikely to have significant pharmacokinetic drug interactions
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Pregabalin or any components
