Indications

Pharmacology

Overdose Effects

  • Single oral dose of esomeprazole at 510 mg/kg lethal to rats
  • Signs of acute toxicity include reduced motor activity, respiratory frequency changes, tremor, and clonic convulsions
  • No specific antidote known
  • Treatment should be symptomatic and supportive
