Pharmacology

  • Bactericidal activity
  • Inhibition of cell wall synthesis

Dosage & Administration

  • Dosage based on pathogen susceptibility

Interaction

  • Serious and occasionally fatal hypersensitivity reactions reported in patients receiving therapy with beta-lactams
  • Seizure potential and other CNS adverse reactions reported during treatment with the combination
